What atsec offers
atsec information security has a long history of security assessments under various standards including BS 7799, ISO 27001and FISMA (Federal Information Security management Act).

atsec information security corporation (US) is accredited as a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) company and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV)  by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council (SSC).

• As an accredited QSA atsec is able to perform PCI on-site security assessments for merchants and service providers - including third party processors and data storage entities - who process credit card transactions.
• As an approved scanning vendor atsec can conduct the quarterly network scans mandated by all major card brands as part of compliance with the PCI DSS, present the results in comprehensive reports and provide supporting services to resolve any non-compliance findings resulting from scans.
• The PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) is a multifaceted security standard that includes requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures.
• The PCI Security Standards Council has assumed responsibility for the Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) program previously operated separately by Visa.

All of the five founding members (American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa International) have agreed to incorporate the PCI DSS as the technical requirements of each of their data security compliance programs. Each founding member also recognizes the QSAs and ASVs certified by the PCI Security Standards Council as being qualified to validate compliance to the PCI DSS.
